We spent three months rewriting PLAY'A to make your VR experience even better. In this update, we conducted a large-scale refactoring, improved stability, boosted performance, and added powerful new features! This is one of the most significant updates in the app’s history, and we are confident that you will feel the difference as soon as you install it.

Toys Aggregator Support
PLAY'A is now compatible with additional interactive devices, expanding your VR experience. We have integrated support for popular models and are working on extending the list of compatible devices to provide users with even more ways to interact with content.
Native Android Downloads
Downloading content is now faster and more convenient thanks to native Android support. This means more stable downloads, background download support, and improved compatibility across different devices. Deep Refactoring and Enhancements:
We’ve done extensive work to make PLAY'A faster, more stable, and more user-friendly. This is not just a cosmetic update—it’s a true evolution of the technology behind our VR player.
Completely reworked video player module — now it supports more formats, runs smoother, and consumes fewer resources, ensuring a higher-quality and more stable viewing experience. We’ve enhanced image clarity, added more precise color adjustments, and improved overall playback reliability.
Rewritten boot-up process — PLAY'A now launches significantly faster, especially on standalone headsets. We’ve optimized the code and eliminated unnecessary delays so you can dive into VR instantly without long waits.
Updated Settings UI — Quick access settings have been added, navigation improved, and options reworked for better user convenience. Now, finding the necessary functions is easier, and making adjustments is faster. We conducted UX research and considered user feedback to make the settings as intuitive and user-friendly as possible.
Optimized buffering time — Content loads and starts playing faster, reducing delays when streaming videos. This is especially noticeable on slower internet connections and high-traffic Wi-Fi networks.
Overall code optimization — We removed outdated elements and improved memory management, leading to better performance on all supported devices. PLAY'A now consumes fewer system resources, which positively impacts headset battery life.
Bug Fixes:
-Fixed the issue with missing controllers on Meta Quest 2
-Resolved app freezing problems on Meta Quest headsets.
-Improved error handling for non-standard video formats.
-Fixed minor graphical artifacts appearing in certain scenes.
