So I use this app via Steam with and HTC VivePro and controllers. The controllers stop working after a few minutes. They can be moved about but cant click on anything. I can use the menu button on the controller to go to Steam settings, force the app to close and restart it.
in short, controllers work for 2-3 minutes then stop being able to click on anything.
