I've noticed that there is something wrong with seeking when at the start of videos (from websites). After starting videos and quickly seeking forward in the video via progress bar click there is a very long delay. It eventually does reposition and resume playback, but it can take a minute or longer.
If seeking ahead 10s via the controller (right on thumb while holding grip) it seeks quite quickly, and after a few times, seeking via the progress bar works as expected with no delay.
It's not a bandwidth issue (1gb with no stutter, etc). It's not a site issue (as works as expected after skip ahead). If I were to guess I would say it a problem with backgroud buffering, perhaps multi threading related, perhaps http request interruption. Perhaps reposition is denied until background buffering after first loading video. If so, when repositioning the background load should be interrupted to allow immediate reposition.
It might be a bit tricky, so good hunting. It would improve user experience.
Thanks!
