It seems during the months I spent in the spam folder and not using your app this feature has since been implemented to the app in v3.0.5 according to your github API page detailing how your app can send login information to third party websites in exchange for an auth token.
Why gaslight me about it then? A simple "you save your login user/pass here" would have sufficed.
This is a pretty weak non-answer for a very simple question months after I asked it. This isn't a question of API, its a question of "why can't your app store two strings?" Regardless of any third party API, that site is going to require the same information: a login name and a password. They already know my login name and password and you already know how to confirm access to your player with that login and password when I type it in. What I'd like to see is if Play'A app can store those two strings so when asked so I don't need to type it in. If you can save the site name you can save the login information. That seems like a pretty trivial ask or did you misunderstand the question?
We sincerely apologize for the delayed response — unfortunately, your message ended up in our spam folder.
As for our reply: the player is just a client. All data is stored on the site’s server, and only the website determines which token to return to us when we make a request.
Hey! Great to hear you’re interested in using our app. Since many websites integrate our API, the best way to get help would be to reach out directly to the website you’re trying to access through our app.

Thank you for your belated time.
