I already installed HEVC VIdeo Extensions on my Windows 11. But PLAY'A Video Player still prompts that the extensions is missing when I tried to play certain video.
If you're still interested, I have exactly the same problem. I downloaded the official HEVC extensions form Microsoft store (paid version), as well as completely reinstall K-lite codec pack. Nothing worked. Reinstall Playa several times.Of course VLC (and every other player in flat screen PC) opens it without problem. If it helps, I use Playa through SteamVR as well as the Oculus link (non cable). Windows 10, Oculus 2
Like an Oculus Id? Where do I even find one? Are you referring to the headset id number or your account ID?Also, can you send me an email or something? I don't want to write my ID details here.
I have exactly the same issue: I paid the codec in Microsoft Store and it is showed as Installed, but Play'a doesn't detect it. So I installed K-Lite codec but it didn't help at all: I still receive the same missing codec error.
I’m really upset that you left. I specifically asked you to follow up because the bug you’re encountering is quite rare, and your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve the app.
What else do you like about Skybox? Let me know, and we’ll try to bring that feature to Play’a!
Hey! Try installing the K-Lite Codec Pack. You can download it using this link: https://codecguide.com/download_kl.htm Please let me know if this helps.

Found this info about the HEVC issue x64 vs x32 version might be still an issue https://forum.deovr.com/d/965-this-is-why-your-hevc-extension-doesnt-work
